About Giliane Mansfeldt

Giliane Mansfeldt Giliane Mansfeldt was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota and has spent her whole life in Minnesota. She graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Cultural Anthropology. While obtaining her Bachelor of Arts, she quickly discovered her degree allowed her witness people’s lives and world events, as stories; moments that could be documented. She learned that through her lens, she was able to tell these stories by documenting moments of unscripted beauty.

Giliane Mansfeldt’s work has been displayed at Minnesota St. Paul Art Crawls, Minnesota's 2011 Winter Carnival Art Show and the St. Paul Urban Art Show. Her work has also been published in children’s educational publishing. Giliane will be featuring new work at various upcoming art shows including the 2011 Spring Saint Paul Art Crawl and the 2011 Minneapolis Undergroud artshow "Pancake and Booze."
